Monk’s Cowl Country Club - Located on the rolling foothills of the world heritage site, the Monk’s Cowl restaurant and accommodation are situated in the oldest golf course in the Central Drakensberg. The well-established 9-hole golf course is challenging with astounding mountain views from every tee and green. A swing bridge for the bold and romantic traverses the river at a perennial waterfall; and several dams add to the inherent natural beauty of the club.
The Monk’s Cowl’s cosy a la carte family restaurant enjoys the reputation of great home-style meals, with log fires in winter and a warm welcoming pub adding to the ambience.
The "A" frame cottages in the garden sleep 2 – 6 guests comfortably and sport full bathrooms. The well equipped comfortable conference centre rounds off the sumptuous offerings of Monks Cowl Country Club and Lodge.
