The vineyards of Oudtshoorn’s Sandkoppies, are home to Grundheim Wines, established in 1858. Five generations have been farming here for over a century. The farm uses an historic wine cellar, more than 100 years old. Grundheim is famous for its fermentation process in open tanks. Everything still gets personal attention – from bottling to labeling.
Grundheim is renowned for its witblits made in a traditional brandy still. Their label’s bull terrier is but a shadow of the witblits bite and grip.
