The Benoni Lake Club was started in 1951 and has been extensively upgraded during its lifetime. The course boasts probably the best greens day in day out in the area, and was the first recipient of the "Ekurheleni Course Of The Year" award in 2003.
Facilities include 2 practice greens, golf carts and caddies, driving range (presently being upgraded) and a fully stocked pro-shop; as well as a clubhouse with bar, restaurant and locker room. 'The Lake Club' as it is affectionately known, is a club renowned for its
friendly atmosphere, both on the tight challenging course and also upstairs in the pub. The club welcomes all golfers Tuesday to Friday with members' days being Saturdays and Sunday mornings.
