TALA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE VIDEO - PRIVATE GAME RESERVE / AFRICAN SAFARI / GAME LODGE - ESTON - NATAL MIDLANDS - KWA ZULU NATAL - SOUTH AFRICA

Tala Private Game Reserve - A rare pleasure, wildlife near the city - Tala Private Game Reserve, Durban’s finest, is a mere 45mins from Durban and 20mins from Pietermaritzburg, easily accessible along tarred roads. This amazing 7 000 acre game sanctuary lies secreted among the gently rolling hills of KwaZulu-Natal. In a malaria free area with an extraordinary mix of traditional African thorn-veld, open grassy plains, and sensitive wetland, Tala provides superb opportunities for game watching and birding and dramatic photography. As guardians of this precious piece of Africa, the staff at Tala is ever aware of the undeniable and irrefutable responsibility they carry - to pass this sanctuary on to future generations. Tala allows guests to get closer to nature, to really interact with the environment and animals, and to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush. A wildlife sanctuary, incorporating many diverse natural environments, the reserve features well over 300 bird species, along with big game that includes buffalo, rhino, kudu, hippo, giraffe and the rare sable antelope. Several distinctive and remarkable plant species can be found by the vigilant guest while visiting Tala. The fiery aloe in full bloom, the imposing euphorbia, and the smell of the fragrant wild sage on a dewy morning, make every stay at the reserve unique and memorable. There are a number of ways to experience the outdoors at Tala.
